I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and have spent the past 19 years working across residential design, architecture, and hospitality.
I later launched Allison Ducharme Interior Design to create spaces that are thoughtful, personal, and designed for real life. Today, I specialize in classic modern interiors that feel simple and refined, while still being warm, welcoming, and full of personality.
My signature style blends clean lines and timeless foundations with earthy materials, natural textures, and intentional pops of color. I believe the most inviting spaces feel layered rather than overly styled, balancing old and new, polished and organic, beauty and everyday comfort.
My process begins by understanding how my clients live, what they are naturally drawn to, and how they want their home or space to feel. Through clear communication, honest advice, and an intuitive approach to design, I help clients define their personal style and make confident decisions throughout the process.
Whether I am designing a private residence or a hospitality environment, every project is tailored to the people who will experience it. I thoughtfully blend existing pieces with new furnishings, finishes, lighting, art, and accessories to create cohesive spaces that feel personal, purposeful, and lasting.
Style, Luxury, and Comfort are the three guiding principles of ADID.
To me, luxury is not about a space feeling formal or overdone. It is about thoughtful details, quality materials, and creating a home that feels beautiful but still comfortable and easy to live in. The end result should feel elevated, personal, functional, and like it truly belongs to you.
