While the majority of my projects consist of designing and purchasing new furnishings and decor for rooms and houses, I also work with clients who are looking to downsize while also not sacrificing personal and practical design.
In a recent project, I helped a couple from Sudbury, MA transition into an assisted living community in Lincoln, MA. After taking pictures, measurements, and notes on all of the pieces they were interested in taking with them, I then measured and drafted a CAD plan to incorporate all of their furniture with designations into their new place. The beauty and convenience of having this plan comes in especially handy as then, the movers know exactly where to position the furniture (in what specific room, in what specific position, etc.) which allows my clients to have a stress-free move knowing they also don't have to handle any of the "heavy lifting" themselves.
